Are you 16-19? Passionate about film? Want a career in the film industry?
If so, the BFI Film Academy is for you. This course, delivered by AmmA Centre Armagh, offers you the chance to be part of our future film industry. You will get hands-on experience in filmmaking and participate in masterclasses with industry professionals learning what it takes to make it in the film world. You will watch and discuss films from all around the world. In groups you will produce your very own short film and work towards gaining an NCFE Award qualification. Once you have completed the course, you will become part of the growing BFI Film Academy alumni network with access to events such as BAFTA career talks.

Saturday Masterclasses
Several Saturday masterclasses with industry professionals. Details to be confirmed.
Shoot Dates: Each group will be on set for one full weekend during December/January

Cost: The cost to participate in the BFI Film Academy delivered by AmmA Centre is £25, refundable in full upon successful completion of the course.
Eligibility: You need to be between the ages of 16 and 19 on the first day of the Academy programme. You must be a UK resident and able to commit to the programme for its duration and not be attending university.
