+ BBC ACADEMY’S DIGITAL CITIES RETURNS

The project will see free-to-attend virtual skills workshops take place between September and February. Digital Cities will continue to have a strong nations and regions emphasis by working with partners across Northern Ireland and reaching the creative content making communities. This year sessions will be available for anyone anywhere in the country to attend online.

+ AmmA & Schools produce face shields to support frontline health staff

The Education Authority (EA) in partnership with schools has coordinated the manufacture of over 10,000 face shields in response to an appeal from Health Trusts for help to supply Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for frontline staff. Over the Easter weekend supplies of PPE were at a critically low level and EA were contacted by a Health Trust manager to ask if they could assist in providing PPE.
