Coder Dojo is starting again in The AmmA Centre to coincide with term 1. Registration details will be available here shortly and emails will go out to all previous participants. Workshops have a new start time of 10.30 and will finish at lunchtime. We will run 4 sessions between now and Christmas with a further 4 sessions in Term 2.

Numbers will be restricted to 15 per workshop and we will be offering Beginner, Intermediate and a project space for Advanced users. We will also offer a number of Dojo-4-Girls workshops but more info on this will follow soon.

CoderDojo will have a new format with the first hour of each session being led by a mentor. This will be an opportunity to try out new technology or fun new tools. The second hour will be show & share time. This is an opportunity for young people to show off their work, demonstrate the coolest new technology they have discovered at home or to work on their own little projects with others.

As always, Coder Dojo requires the input of mentors, adults and parents to make this a sustainable success. Please volunteer by emailing daniel.oreilly@yahoo.co,uk OR register through the Eventbrite page as a ‘Mentor’. Don’t worry if you are not tech-savvy, CoderDojo is a chance to learn for all. We will also need help with supervision, registration and serving refreshments so even volunteering 30 minutes of your time for this will be a great help!

How can you help?? Our poster is attached in this email, please share on your social media AND ask your school to print in colour and hang it somewhere in your school! Spread the word.

Registration is now live here. Keep an eye on the website and on the AmmA blog for more info! And don’t forget to follow us on twitter @dojoconni
