]]> http://ammacentre.org/blog/?feed=rss2&p=1115 0 St Josephs Primary Newry recording day http://ammacentre.org/blog/?p=1106 http://ammacentre.org/blog/?p=1106#comments Tue, 11 Jun 2013 15:43:46 +0000 niall http://ammacentre.org/blog/?p=1106 A big thank you to all the staff and students from St Josephs Newry for their hard work during the recording of their CD.  The recording took place in the Convent Chapel within the school grounds.  The Chapel had been chosen as the ideal place to record the choir as you can see from the video footage here.  The choir did not disappoint as their voices filled the room.  The 9 track CD is in the mixing process at the AmmA centre and should be available for sale at the school within the next week.  Again a big thank you to all involved.

The students over the 2 days were introduced to Garageband on the iPad and in no time were producing their own music.  The students were then given the opportunity to produce a radio advert to showcase a product of their own design.  These products ranged from lawnmowers to xbox games!  Take a look at this short video documenting the students at work.  Again a big thank you to all involved!
