Beginner 2 Band Autumn 2016

Are you between 13-17 years old and want the opportunity to create, record and perform original music?  We are pleased to say Beginner 2 Band (B2B) Autumn 2016 is waiting to hear from you.  This will give you an opportunity to work with professional tutors to produce and perform your original music.  The sessions will vary from week nights or Saturdays depending what suit you best.  To register follow the link  http://bit.ly/2c3ER1V and complete the online form.  Not forgetting to select which group you would like to attend.

Summer is a busy time here at AmmA Centre with all sorts of fantastic creative and digital workshops for young people. Sometimes its easy to confuse the place with a busy school playground with the creative buzz from our various rooms and studios. This year we made the brave leap into the world of Minecraft having tinkered with it during the school year in a number of primary settings.

From the age of 10, Jack Delaney has been a regular attendee of CoderDojo@TheAmmACentre. From an early age Jack has been very enthusiastic about all things technology related so Coder Dojo was a great fit for his interests and an opportunity to meet other like minded young people.

CoderDojo Returns @ AmmA – 1st November 2014

Coder Dojo is starting again in The AmmA Centre to coincide with term 1. Registration details will be available here shortly and emails will go out to all previous participants. Workshops have a new start time of 10.30 and will finish at lunchtime. We will run 4 sessions between now and Christmas with a further 4 sessions in Term 2.

Beginner 2 Band Summer 2014

A busy three days at the centre writing and recording for the Beginner 2 Band participants. With 3 original compositions recorded in the AmmA studio with the help of tutors Warren and James. You can here the results on the AmmA Centre sound cloud and there with be a little video to follow soon. Thank you to everyone involved for their enthusiasm and creativity. We can’t wait to have you all back soon.
